PRODUCTION

 

The exact production method of our Chantré is a closely-guarded secret, but there are a few details we can reveal:

Each year the best wines are selected to provide the perfect base for our Chantré. Our master distillers obtain a fine distillate from these wines, distilled in accordance with the 1932 wine law. The distillates are then stored:
They mature for at least six months in Limousin oak barrels. During this time, they develop the typical flavor and golden brown color of our Chantré.

The production process of our Chantré Cuvée Rouge is almost identical.
While different wines are selected for a Chantré, our ruby red Chantré is made exclusively from red wines.
